For the picture preview: this works for me on Ubuntu 12.04. Using version 16.
Could you also try with a clean profile or in safe mode?

Or provide extra information which can help me reproduce.
As for the other options in the dialog, this is just the regular Ubuntu file dialog.

You can reproduce it by trying to upload a photo by clicking on "Add photos" in Facebook throgh your profile menu.
I'll attach a screenshot.

I use the "FX"-Chrome-like theme. :)

Could you try reproducing in safe mode? (Help-Restart with add-ons disabled?)
I highly suspect that the theme you are using is causing this.

Nope. Exactly the same Upload Dialog appears in Safe Mode.
Do you want me to try under Linux Mint? Or using a USB Stick with a fresh Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

Oh, I got it now, thanks for the screenshots. This is the dialog that uploads photo albums, not individual photos.
This seems to be an issue with Facebook and not Firefox. This is no regression on our side (checked with F6) and Chromium behaves exactly the same.
Please re-open if it turns out that there is something fishy on Firefox side.

Okay, but why on Windows there's no such regression?

The Windows and Linux File handling dialogs are different according to Operating Systems. The File upload dialog you get in Windows is not the same as the one in Linux. That's why this can be seen as well in Chrome in Linux.

Many thanks for the clarification, Virgil! :)
Should I alarm the Facebook developers or it's already done?
