Hey hey all, We have a request for an initial product page to be built for FxOS to house the icon guidelines for app developers when designing apps for the OS. Peter La put together a great PSD that seems as if it'll be fairly straight forward to adapt to the new dark theme on the guide. https://www.dropbox.com/s/s410cswqr6w0g2i/MozillaFXOSAppIconGuidelines.zip Steven, could you take a look at this and let us know when you think that could be adapted for the guide? Thanks!
Thanks Sean (& Peter). Patryk, do you have a particular deadline in mind for this? I know this page is a little more time-sensitive than some of the other product-related content in the style guide might be, as we're about to make a big push to get app developers to start working on our platform. If so, please let us know so Mike & Steven can prioritize this page appropriately.
I've already been sending this out last week via email to our 3rd party partners. So the sooner we can get this on the web, live and approved the better.
I've taken a quick look at the PSD and it seems it should be relatively easy to adapt to the style guide layout. The PSD does include all of the text, icons, and background as a single layer though, so I would need those layers isolated.

Patryk, can you or Peter share a version of that PSD with the layers broken out?
Any updates on this? Would love to stop sending our 3rd party partners a dropbox link.

This is ready for review. Please have a look here: https://www-demo2.allizom.org/en-US/styleguide/products/firefoxos/icons/
Looks great to me, but Patryk should be the main judge here.
(In reply to Steven Garrity from comment #7) > This is ready for review. Please have a look here: > https://www-demo2.allizom.org/en-US/styleguide/products/firefoxos/icons/ Thanks looks pretty good, can you please update the 3 icon's wallpaper image, it looks fuzzy. I attached a high res image of the wallpaper.

There's a pull request for this on GitHub now: https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/pull/511 It can go into production after it has been reviewed by another on the webdev team.
thanks looks good!

Attached file Getting Started Assets
Hi, in the initial package that Sean Martell posted there were PSD files. We'd like to included these in the post (which look great BTW, thanks). It would be the final section below examples and would have a link to the file. Similar to how download logo looks like. <title>Download <copy>Getting started templates <button> PSD -- I guess you can also provide EPS and PNG if that is a requirement

I have pinged Sean Martell to get the appropriate PSD files up on http://assets.mozillalabs.com/
Sean, please see comment #16
The download link is now in place (I used a single link pointing to the folder with all four PSD files: https://assets.mozillalabs.com/Projects/Firefox%20OS/UX/). All of our demo servers are tied up. Are we ok to push this into production?
Should be good for now, we'll likely need to expend the directory structure with the next style guide we create. Thanks!
Actually since I don't to refile the bug to change the link. Can you put them into their own folder. From: https://assets.mozillalabs.com/Projects/Firefox%20OS/UX/ To: https://assets.mozillalabs.com/Projects/Firefox%20OS/UX/VsD/V1/AppIcons/Templates/PSD/ Thanks.

Can you make this change, and then re-assign this bug back to me? Thanks.
