Details

The keyboard is one of those key component that is used so often that it should be instant. Having a profile showing what happens when the keyboard is summoned would really handy.

With the latest gaia I built the keyboard does not slide in anymore on my Otoro, it seems to pop-up without any kind of sliding anymation, pushing the keys is also remarkably slower than yesterday. On the desktop build the sliding still works fine though.

I have re-tested again but in all recent Gaia builds the keyboard doesn't slide in, it just pops up immediately. Are there plans to bring back the previous behavior or will we stick with the pop-up one?
