User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:19.0) Gecko/19.0 Firefox/19.0 Build ID: 20121107045842 Steps to reproduce: Went to http://www.gamedesire.com/#/?dyn_page=2&gg=99 and clicked on Play. Actual results: The external application that is installed did not launch. Expected results: The external application that is installed should launch and allow me to play. If I manually start the application it won't work. It will launch fine in latest FireFox.
I should add that the reason that manually starting the application does not work is because it needs to be launched by the browser. Using Nightly it constantly tells me to download the software again. I have tried a reinstall through Nightly and it still says the same.
What about logging in?
(it redirects to http://www.gamedesire.com/la-ru,igra-pool-8.html and asks me to log in)

Yes I am logged in when I get this request to reinstall software when the software doesn't auto launch nor do I get the request to open an external application.

Can you please try and see if this issue reproduces on a clean profile on the latest Fx19 build? WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:21.0) Gecko/20130113 Firefox/21.0 and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0. doctorwho001, are there any settings you changed from default for this game (browser, Windows firewall etc)?

The only setting I used was the browser one that is in the form of a checkbox for using the same app when opening a certain file.

Hi reporter, Do you still reproduce this issue? The link you provided opens a page containing the following text: ###WINDOW_LOCATION_START###/###WINDOW_LOCATION_END######PLAYER_ID_START###0###PLAYER_ID_END######DYN_PAGE_START###2###DYN_PAGE_END######GET_TYPE_START###location###GET_TYPE_END######LANG_START######LANG_END######CSS_VER_START###1452594568278###CSS_VER_END######JS_VER_START###1452594619632###JS_VER_END### , so I'm not able to test this. Can you please try to reproduce this on the latest release(43.0.4) and latest Nightly(46.0a1) and provide the results? When doing this, please try to reproduce with a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even in safe mode, as some of this issues may be caused by third party installed add-ons or custom settings(https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems). Thanks, Paul.

Hi reporter, I tested this issue out on firefox nightly on an iMac. I Copied the link onto a new tab on the browser for which the following message is displayed: ###WINDOW_LOCATION_START###/###WINDOW_LOCATION_END######PLAYER_ID_START###0###PLAYER_ID_END######DYN_PAGE_START###2###DYN_PAGE_END######GET_TYPE_START###location###GET_TYPE_END######LANG_START######LANG_END######CSS_VER_START###1452594568278###CSS_VER_END######JS_VER_START###1452594619632###JS_VER_END### Are there currently any other ways to get around this problem? Thanks, Liam.
Since the reporter didn't provide the requested information, I will mark this issue as RESOLVED INCOMPLETE. If you still encounter this problem, please feel free to reopen this bug, or file a new one.
