For the last few months, some Mozillians have been working on a web app called "Witness" which allows you to prove that person X signed document Y:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Witness
We want to use this for things like the Committer's Agreement, Volunteer Sysadmin Agreement and other similar documents.
The code is now at a stage where we'd like to deploy an instance of it on Mozilla infrastructure as a precursor to actually using it. (The test instance is hosted on AWS.)
It's built on Playdoh, so hopefully the team will find it easy to deploy.
Zach and Joe are the developers. Gentlemen: can you add a comment explaining where to find the source?
Gerv
Hi guys,
The source is on github - https://github.com/khchen428/witness
As Gerv mentioned, the app is built on Playdoh. There's a .travis.yml manifest that describes the steps to deploy to a test server, but the steps should be pretty standard. Can you please let us know if there are specific requirements for deployment on the Mozilla infrastructure?
Thanks,
Joe

Harvey Anderson was asking about this in my 1:1 this week.
mrz: how do we get this bug into the Server Ops (or whichever group would be responsible) planning process?

I'll review the requirements and provide feedback later today with any questions, but with our change freeze for the holiday, the earliest this would get started is mid next week
Priority: -- → P3

Told Gerv that we would need a secreview bug tied to this..

Bug 821282 has been filed for this deployment, pursuant to the New Website process.

Any need for this bug anymore? Seems like not... bug 821295 is our actual creation/deployment bug, bug 821282 feels like an overall tracker bug, and sec-review is in bug 821289.
Closing this out, but feel free to re-open if there's work to do on this bug.
