Details

The profiler UI becomes unresponsive after losing connection/removing usb which I do frequently. It's hard to differentiate between having lost a connection or an event taking long since profile saving on mobile can take 10+ seconds.
The transport code right now is pretty simple-minded. This should totally be fixed. Perhaps we can improve this while implementing the bulk transfers: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Remote_Debugging_Protocol_Stream_Transport

This doesn't appear to be relevant any more.
