My Samsung Galaxy Note and S II are running GB.

STR:
1. Load my favorite IME test page: http://support.mozilla.org/
2. Tap input focus in the Help page's text input
3. See the orange insertion pointer
4. Start typing

ACTUAL RESULT:
See the orange insertion pointer is still visible and still points to position 0, not the current cursor position. Please see the attached screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT:
I would expect the insertion pointer to disappear or follow the cursor position.

This is a regression:
* Neither Firefox 16 and Beta 17 display an orange insertion pointer.
* Aurora 18 displays an orange insertion pointer, but it DOES disappears when you start typing.
* Nightly 19 displays an orange insertion pointer, but it does NOT disappear when you start typing.
Aurora 18 is affected, though its misbehavior differs from Nightly 19's.
Shouldn't we hide the handle when typing?

Indeed, Chris mentions that in comment 0
This is also reproducible on following devices:

Samsung galaxy Tab (Android 3.1)
Samsung galaxy R (Android 2.3.4)
HTC Desire Z (Android 2.3.4)
Summary: Galaxy Note and S II text input leaves insertion pointer in old position after typing → Text input leaves insertion pointer in old position after typing
This happens on the Nexus 10 with the latest Android 4.3. Switching apps (then back) sometimes helps, but rarely.

Which Firefox version are you using? And can you post updated steps to reproduce? Thanks!
