I changed colour scheme rightclick on desktop -> Personalize -> Window Color (selected from menu on the button) -> changed to grey (additionally: disabled transparency and reduced brightness) (in the way as presented on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yD2orCsj8Xc )

It is the same in Chrome, and even in IE 10.
