Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0
Build ID: 20121025210744
Steps to reproduce:
I added a social.manifest.friendica entry for Friendica (another social network beside facebook) using about:config. I edited my /etc/hosts to simulate that facebook is down.
Actual results:
The sidebar displays an error message that firefox can't connect with Friendica currently, with a retry button and a close sidebar button.
Expected results:
The Friendica sidebar should be unaffected by a facebook outage.

We currently don't support multiple providers at all - we're working on it (see bug 809694). I'm going to mark this INVALID since this is a known problem that won't exist once we implement multi-provider support, but thanks for the report (and thanks a lot for the IRC feedback!)
