Details

This is a spinoff from bug 811332. The platform needs to deal with this case better but in the meantime we shouldn't be adding an opacity of 0.8 to the thumbnail image because it causes scaling artifacts when switching from the GPU/CPU has the layer becomes active/inactive during the mouse over causing noticeable visual and performance impact.
