Details

*Environment: Phone - Unagi gaia master(git): 1549eb82367e0da38198cb3d458def15d829527a gecko aurora(hg): 114166:c07b17e59971 *How to reproduce: 1. Flash your phone. 2. Open a virtual keyboard. 3. You can't even see a globe icon. [Keyboard & Text-Handling] - Use the "globe" button to switch between languages https://moztrap.mozilla.org/manage/case/3918/ [Keyboard & Text-Handling] - Use the "globe" to costomize the keyboard https://moztrap.mozilla.org/manage/case/3930/ *Expected Result: If there is a keyboard, there should be a "globe" icon to switch between different IME. *Actual Result: It doesn't have the "globe" icon there. Only if you select some other keyboard layouts would you see the "globe" icon in virtual keyboard *Sidenote: 1. This is MozTrap [Keyboard & Text-Handling] test case 6 & 7. 2. This is targeted for B2G M4

Adding Rudy Lu and Steven Yang. Per Rudy, this might be a feature.
I thought that is what the specs expect. CC'ing Salva.
Where can we find all the specs?
Hi Walter, You may find the spec here on our wiki, https://wiki.mozilla.org/Gaia/System/Keyboard As I said in our off-line discussion, this is per spec that we would not show the [Globe] key for switching keyboard layouts when there is only one keyboard layout enabled (default to English). And this could be customized by changing build/settings.py per OEM requests. Thanks.
Ok, Thanks.
