A user that opts into the exact target newsletter should be signed up and entered into their system on vouch.

Winston,
Question about unsubscribing. Once the user is subscribed .. we need some clarification on how users unsubscribe/ are directed to unsubscribe.
From what I can tell, on other mozilla web properties we never link directly to the newsletter preference center (with the token in the url). All links to this are from the emails.
Is this intentional? For mozillians we could do the same or try and generate a link to the preference center.
So here are the options:
1. Mozillians communicates with ET to generate the preference center url, include this on profile page.
2. Mozillians explains on profile page users need to use link in emails
3. Mozillians says nothing on profile page, relies on links contained in email.. maybe have text in help or about.

Exactly right. No login on moz.org.

Yes - at some point, we may build a system where one can login. But for now, everything happens within the email. Users click link and are directed to their pref center options.

This is how we do it currently. User gets email with URL that contains their token. Here's one from my latest Firefox & you email.

OK so it sounds like we will do option #3. Do we need to have any text on the site explaining this?
If yes can you provide?

Yeah, should work the same as all are other emails which would be opt 3. The only copy we need is at the footer of the email, so nothing on your end. Thanks!

Note the newsletter users are getting subscribed to is mozilla-phone.
That is the name used in exact target.
