Desktop also reproduces this behavior. I think this a core bug that we don't recognize icon urls with the following style:

We don't enforce anything on icons urls on the platform side, so gaia does whatever it can.

This is a valid relative uri though, that should resolve to http://a0... or https://a0... depending on the base URI used.

Okay. From the triage perspective - I don't think I'd block ship on fixing this, unless you feel strongly that we should fix this.

The issue still exists and is not only for the above mentioned apps. I downloaded few apps and they have issues too. Please see screenshot.

Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
