List Name: mozilla.dev.apps.devtools List Admin: dcamp@mozilla.com Short Description: For development of the Firefox Developer Tools Long Description: This forum is for discussing development of the built-in Firefox Developer Tools. Justification / Special Instructions:
I know dom-inspector and js-debugger are in the dev.apps hierarchy, but actually they don't fit too well there. dev.apps is sort of for "top-level" apps like Firefox and Thunderbird. I'd go for the simpler: mozilla.dev.devtools or mozilla.dev.developer-tools (I suspect conversation will also spill over into using the tools for B2G development.) Either of those OK with you, dcamp? Gerv
mozilla.dev.developer-tools sounds good. Agreed regarding b2g development tools.
Over to server-ops for implementation: mozilla.dev.developer-tools . Gerv

David, I've emailed you credentials for the mailing list. Giganews has also been notified to add the DF, which should happen today or tomorrow. Google Groups should (hopefully) pick this up come Monday.

We're getting something like: I registered (it worked) and sent an email, but I'm getting this error: host mailman2.mail.corp.phx1.mozilla.com[10.20.77.52] said: 550 5.1.1 <dev-developer-tools@lists.mozilla.org>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table (in reply to RCPT TO command) when sending to the list, is that expected while we wait for giganews/google groups?
Our postfix has had this problem before. I'm not sure how it gets tripped, but a regeneration of the hash files in postfix seems to fix it. I've done that, and my email to the list got correctly moderated (and 'delivered') as expected.
https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/mozilla.dev.developer-tools/okxnsrmtb8U Looks to be working correctly now. Closing for now, please reopen if you experience any problems. Cheers!
