I'd like to change the email associated with this account ([e-mail]) to [e-mail]. However, when I try to make the change myself, I am notified that an account for [e-mail] already exists. (This might be because I logged with BrowserID on that email once).

Is it possible to delete the existing [e-mail] account and then change the email associated with this account? I will lose access to my mozilla email tomorrow so this is fairly urgent. Thanks!

The [e-mail] account is not in the profiles table which means never fully got created. Likely what is happening is the token created to create the account is still in the tokens table which makes the system complain that the account is already being used.

I will need to get IT to purge the token so that you (or us) can change the account login to the new address.

IT, can you please run the following SQL command on the production BMO database to clear the token?

mysql> DELETE FROM tokens WHERE (tokentype IN ('emailnew','emailold') AND eventdata LIKE '[e-mail]%') OR (tokentype = 'account' AND eventdata = '[e-mail]');
