With the current color scheme, the selected message in the thread pane is barely visible when the message is focused (which is most of the time) - it's a very light shade of blue which is almost invisible on an LCD screen, such as on a laptop. It makes it very hard to see which message and folder is selected, making navigation very difficult. Starting with andrew, since he did the original focus work in the folder and thread panes, but CC'ing sspitzer, owner of the mail FE.
I know Joe and Marlon were hashing out that color a few days ago. Sending to Hewitt as this is most likely modern skin . cc'ing marlon for his input as well.
