User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:19.0) Gecko/19.0 Firefox/19.0 Build ID: 20121031030750 Steps to reproduce: I tried to view a video on YouTube on Firefox Nightly on 18/11/2012. Actual results: Blank video screen (see screenshot). I checked it with multiple videos, and there was the same blank screen, i.e. not just an issue with that particular clip.

Do you watch videos through HTML5 <video>, or a Flash plug-in?

(In reply to Aleksej [:Aleksej] from comment #3) > Do you watch videos through HTML5 <video>, or a Flash plug-in? And if it's Flash, what version are you using?

My version of Flash is a beta version (11.5.502.118). I use Windows 7 64 bit if that's any help. Is the fact that I'm using a Beta version of Flash that Firefox has asked me to try out causing this issue? Would I be better off with a stable version of Flash?

Youtube works fine to me with Flash 11.5.502.124 beta on Nightly 20.0a1 (2012-11-26) on Win 7 x64. Please check if the issue occurs using Firefox in safe mode to see if your addons are causing the problem: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Or on a new, empty profile? (Don't install any addons into it) http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

You could also try with Flash 11.5.502.110 release http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Try turning off the HTML5 player if you've opted-in and see if that helps. http://www.youtube.com/html5

It now seems to work fine without me working in Safe Mode or anything, so not sure why it didn't work before. Temporary issue with the YouTube site possibly?
