I think this has regressed recently. some menuitems (Empty trash, compact folder, rename folder, properties) must be hidden in standalone msg window. It is hidden in _mozilla debug build_, NOT in realease comm. bits. Build: Today's build on Win NT and Mac. Hoping the same on linux :)

This works now on a regular Mozilla trunk build. > NOT in realease comm. bits I don't really understand that part, but I guess it means the publicly available binaries (as opposed to the mentioned debug builds). So this should be WFM. (Anybody disagree?)
No reaction, very old bug - and it also works (apart from Mozilla) in Netscape 7.1.
