Please provide translations in the template provided, and also advise on the specific brands which are relevant for your country in question 3 (5 Android smartphone brands, 5 mobile operator brands).

So, this is the P1 list of countries/languages we want this survey in:

South Africa - English-ZA(can fallback to en-GB, en-US)
South Korea - Korean(ko)

which translates to(in previously given order): ar, ko, cs, es(unified), pt-BR. Can you please confirm that?

As for technical stuff, I already started working on getting Verbatim in shape for localizers to work on this project. I'll let you guys know when I'm all done.

Anywho, can someone please ping our survey vendor and ask whether we can provide them with CVS formatted surveys(Dwayne and I don't think it would be a problem for them to do the conversion, but I just want to make sure).

so, Chile also falls back to es?  That looks fine, but we do also want validation of currency layouts and (more crucially) of OEM and operator brands in markets - i.e. localisation, not just translation.

Not quite sure what to do with the blue income bands in en-ZA.  The Polish example incomes seem unrelated to the GBP ones.  I'd like to specify these in ZAR but I'm not sure if the bands must match your GBP bands or how you want us to break the bands if they are not.

Thanks for asking Dwayne - most important is that you specify how currency should be noted.
If there are approximate income bands that appear to relate (in amount) to the GBP ones you could use, please insert them, otherwise I'll make my own approximation.

It is hard to define income break-points that are relevant globally, as income levels are so different around the world.

so, my rough conversion to South African Rand for the monthly amounts looked roughly like this:

£0 - £249		0-3499
£250 - £499		3500-6999
£500 - £749		7000-9999
£750 - £999		10000-14999
£1,000 - £1,249		15000-17499
£1,250 - £1,499		17500-22499
£1,500 - £1,999		22500-27499
£2,000 - £2,499		27500-34999
£2,500 - £2,999		35000-42499
£3,000 - £3,999		42500-54999
£4,000 - £4,999		55000-69999
£5,000 +		70000

Would that make sense for you?

Yes, those look good.  I'm wondering though if we should be using LSM bands, not sure if this is a uniquely South African measure.  But it is used quite a lot by marketers here.

Sorry I couldn't do this before. Please find attached the localized survey for the Spanish-speaking countries. I did some research on the specific brands which are relevant for this area, including 5 Android smartphone brands and 5 mobile operator brands.

As for household incomes, I kept the original brackets, but I decided to use US dollars as a common currency. Please let me know what you think about this.

Thanks - is this for the whole Spanish-speaking area, or a specific country?  From the ones you chose, it looks like Argentina to me.  Is that correct?  We will actually produce a list for every country we're testing.

Same applies - I'll convert to nearest amounts, and perhaps you can validate that the currency symbols etc look ok?

Well, as I said above, this for the whole Spanish-speaking area (both Europe and LatAm). I just asked the question in Mozilla Hispano group on Facebook, which includes Mozilla core members and contributors from a dozen of different countries, and these are the results.

If you have a more scientific method to measure this, please don't hesitate to use it.

It'd be great you could provide as much info as possible to be able to localize the survey as accurately as possible. May I know what specific target region/country is the survey focusing on?
