I don't understand this bug report, what are you trying to "tap right/left"?
This sounds like a evangelism bug as there's probably nothing we can do on our side, but it would be great if you could explain the problem more fully.

Hi, sorry. This bug came up from a Browser test case: #2530
This is the expected.
page does not pan left nor right; only up and down due to :<meta name="viewport" id="viewport" content="width=device-width, target-densitydpi=160, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no"/>
As I understand, you could not pan left or right, the page should be ajusted to the screen wide.
If the test case does make sense then it should be deleted

As far as I can tell, Gecko is behaving as expected here, I can't actually see a <meta name="viewport"> tag in the source code of this web page and the reason you can pan is that there's an image which is too wide to fit on the screen.
Perhaps the web site changed since the test case was written. I'm not sure where the list of test cases is but it seems the test case and therefore this bug is invalid. Please re-open if it's found to be otherwise.

Reopening the bug. Firefox for android scales down the image, and does not allow for scrolling to the side.
The image is not being scaled down and the viewport is not being honored for that picture for whatever reason. I believe that this bug is valid.

For clarification the above comment, "The image is not being scaled down and the viewport is not being honored for that picture for whatever reason. I believe that this bug is valid." is referring to what occurs in b2g

Have to ask - what happens if you switch the user agent to FF OS and test this on Fx Android? Just want to make sure it isn't a user agent issue.
