Steps to reproduce:

I received an email, below is an email fragment:

Actual results:

Normally this email opens and I see useful information. I can't even download the file now. It stays in this random state. 


Expected results:

Normally I get a comma separated field on my screen as an inline attachment.

I've tried the following...
* Tried different encoding
* Enabled/disabled the inline attachment option
* Opening it on a different machine with also TB 17, same error
* Changed the body to HTML, plain text and simple HTML, no effect

This worked fine with TB 16!

If you can still reproduce using a current version of Thunderbird please update the  bug.
I cannot reproduce using currently nightly build.
