Created attachment 685115 [details] Screenshot of the two versions 1.Go to http://input.mozilla.org/en-US/ 2.Observe that the Desktop versions of Firefox are up-to-date. 3.Click Mobile product 4.Click versions Expected results: There should be more then 3 versions in the drop-down menu. Actual results: There are only two versions in the drop-down menu(16.0 & 17.0)
I'm pretty sure this is because the site wasn't correctly distinguishing mobile and we had to fix it and we probably fixed it mid-16.0. Mike: Does that sound right? I know someone fixed mobile detection, but I can't remember if it was input, fjord, or kitsune (or more probably some combination of them).
Right. After the switch from Fennec to the new Firefox for Android, Input was not detecting it as mobile, and lumping it into desktop. These should be available as the "Android" platform, but I don't see this right now. Going forward, mobile detection was fixed, so we will get good data. It is however interesting that there is no data for the current versions of beta, aurora, or nightly.
We still have a threshold in place IIRC. Since there's very little beta/aurora/nightly mobile feedback, they don't show up in the dropdown.
