User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 Build ID: 20121028121055 Steps to reproduce: set mail.chat.enabled to false Actual results: Chat was disabled, but so were only showing condensed addresses (mail.showCondensedAddresses was ignored). Tested on both gentoo and ubuntu (the later with a blank profile). Also occurred on thunderbird 16 (and maybe earlier). Expected results: Only chat should have been disabled.
I don't see any link between mail.chat.enabled and mail.showCondensedAddresses. Was there an error in the Error Console ("Error Console" in the "Tools" menu)?
I don't seem to see anything related to whether or not mail.chat.enabled. Do condensed addresses still show for you when you set mail.chat.enabled to false (e.g. when I click on emails it shows the name/email from the header, not the name from my address book with their email not shown).
Pouya, If you still see this, you should set "needinfo" for :flo. Or if you do not see this, please close by setting status to RESOLVED, and resolution to WORKSFORME

I can't reproduce this. If this is still an issue for the reporter, please reopen this with more detailed steps on how to reproduce -- specifically what changes in each situation.
