The 'menu tutorial' is a little long in the tooth and broken at this point :)

Problems:

* code base no longer works
* `package.json` "packages" directives are old.

The menu tutorial was broken in master because the SDK's support for third-party packages was broken in master. It works again now this: https://github.com/mozilla/addon-sdk/commit/2dbe714ce19e7945013ed82ebfd284cab390b4c5 has landed.

package.json's "packages" seems to work OK too, in my simple test. But yes, we should consider whether we want to remove any package.json directives from the docs.
