After clicking on a link in Twitter, Firefox opens the link but there's no way to quickly go back to Twitter except quitting Firefox and click on Twitter App again.

That's expected behavior - the links in twitter or target=blank links, which intentionally open in the browser. It's up to the app to setup their links correctly to determine whether the link opens in the app vs. browser.
