Steps to reproduce:

Gai build #20121128071138


1) User sets an alarm
2) Enters to an app/ menu, etc. 
3) View status bar
 




Actual results:

User sets alarm.
User verified that an active alarm exists
The user can only turn off the alarm from the clock app not from anywhere in the UI


Expected results:

After setting an alarm, the user should be able to turn off the alarm from anywhere in the UI

I don't think the expected result is needed and reasonable for me. If we want the functionality, it looks like needed UX's design.

Yeah this would be a new feature, definitely not polish. It's something interesting that we can consider for future versions. Adding the generic "v2" whiteboard label for tracking purposes.

Hey Francis, this is a really old bug, but I think it's still relevant.  Do you know if there's been any progress on it?

it seems as if this has been fixed. When an alarm is coming in, I can tap on the alarm notification to turn it off from anywhere in the UI.
