User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 Build ID: 20121024073032 Steps to reproduce: Configured LDAP address book with authentication. Searching works, but I have to enter my password every time I try to search. Tried to use offline option from the properties tab. Also, opened the error console before that. Actual results: 1. Asked me for authentication 2. Starts replicating, status message: Replicating directory entry: 70 3. Status message: replication failed 4. Nothing in the error console (tab set to all) Expected results: Entries to become available offline?

I noticed this on Linux with Daily 22. I had been using 17.0.3 but thought I would checkout Daily 22 for a while. I starting getting password prompts every time I entered an address. The password prompt dialog did not have a checkbox for User Password Manager to remember this password. Going back to 17.0.3, the dialog did have the checkbox and I was able to save the password and not need to reenter it each time. Going back to Daily 22, I once again had to enter my ldap password everytime when I entered a to: address in new mail. This was with mozilla's ldap server configured as the global ldap. Maybe there is a db change between the versions which causes this?
