https://etherpad.mozilla.org/appcache-london the chat has been defouled by some spammers and the people from the other companies are complaining. Can we remove that?

I attempted to clear the chat history, and in doing so somehow caused the entire pad to stop working. Suffice it to say, chat is not *really* meant to be editable. The fix here, and what we should do for the future, is to save the pad text, delete the pad, and recreate it. That's what we've had to do here. The obvious downside is that you lose authorship colors and pad history.
