Preconditions: have a music file in the AAC format transferred to device 1. Open Music app 2. Select Playlist button 3. Select Recently Added option (check all other playlists) 4. Select your AAC file Expected Result: - User is able to locate recently added AAC file and play it Actual Result: - No file is presented in any of the playlists. (File is stored on the device, user is able to locate it and play on PC when connected via USB)

My understanding is that we *do* support AAC today for audio files in mp4 containers. We are not support bug 809186 -- which is outside of mp4 containers. For comment 1, can you confirm the type of file container you're using?

Please find the music file that I used attached, I just converted regular mp3 music file to AAC format. Hope this will help
Yes, I confirm this bug is valid, I tried to play AAC file in mp4.a container, and the file is shows an information on the player, but refused to playback.
