Many of the TB users in my organization are bummed that they can't set a default reply or composition color that stays consistent for them only. For example, you can set the defaults for a user, but if there's an email conversation between people, the background and default fonts get changed to the replying user's. In the now defunct Eudora this was a nice feature to have, since it was very easy to identify who was saying what based on color anywhere in the thread without having to track down a signature or header text. People would select a color and stay with it. But TB doesn't allow that. This would be a really nice addition to user experience in Thunderbird. Please consider.
