I always get "United States" as the country in the "Monthly Newsletter" box in Firefox Beta and Firefox Aurora download pages.
There are other countries than the United States!
My Firefox language is set to en-GB and mozilla.org is clever enough to provide me the en-GB version of Firefox but can't guess that I'm unlikely living in the United States?
In addition, nowadays, with the user IP, we can easily guess in which country the user is so we could use that information too.
Any way, there are tons of ways to be more clever than that and this is clearly sending the wrong signal to the users: showing "United States" is not what a global project with an international community should do.
