Details

The Mozilla addons website currently suggests proprietary software (and is shown in the about:addons page). The Mozilla Manifesto principles #2, #6 and #7 are relevant. [1] Steps to reproduce: * Open Firefox * Enter about:addons in the location bar * Type "interclue" in the search bar (or another non-free addon) * Click Download. Firefox will install the software without human confirmation and displaying license details, including when the addon isn't open source. Actual results: Firefox and other Mozilla applications suggesting non-free software via addons.mozilla.org. Expected results: Mozilla should not steer users towards using proprietary or non-free software.
