Posted file testcase.html
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20121203 Firefox/19.0
Build ID: 20121203042014

Steps to reproduce:

Opacity of the image is set to 0.8 and changes to 1.0 on hover. I'm on Firefox 19.0a2 in Windows 7

Actual results:

The new downscaler (from bug #486918) works only when the opacity is 1.0

Expected results:

It should work at all opacities.
