User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0 Build ID: 20121128204232 Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Build 20121204153445 / Version 18.0 2. Verify that you are connected to a Wi-Fi connection. 3. Turn on Airplane Mode. 4. Verify that Wi-Fi is now turned OFF. 5. Turn on Wi-Fi and connect to a network. 6. Notice you now have Wi-Fi and Airplane mode on at the same time. 7. Notice that you can access the Internet in this state. Actual results: I'm able to reenable Wi-Fi mode after turning Airplane Mode on. This is a confusing state for the user and seems incorrect. Expected results: It's my belief that after turning on Airplane mode, that connecting to a Wi-Fi option should be grayed out so that you must turn off Airplane Mode to enable Wi-Fi. OR If Airplane mode is on and the user tries to enable Wi-Fi, they should receive an error message explaining that Airplane Mode must be turned off first.
After doing more research on this subject using Apple support, I found that turning on Wi-Fi while in Airplane mode IS allowed...... Sounds like a NO BUG. Assign back and I will close if you agree with this comment that it's BY DESIGN.
You are right. This is not a bug.

I found this reference doc on apple support site: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1355 Is the same rules apply to Unagi device? If so, would it be possible to post link to the specific design document in this Bug?

Also apple article from comment 3 tells that you can turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Unagi device will also allow you to turn on GPS is it by design as well? If so post link to the specific design document describing airplane mode.
