JI: Do you mean that Bug 81786 is referring to the problem shown by my second
screenshot here?

All these problems (charset list on languages and message display pref window
and the one on folder charset property window) are caused by the same bug. Bug
81786 was originally filed for the charset list problem on the folder property
window, and it's identified as a browser generic problem later.

accepting - I can see the screenshot now :-) I also agree that this is most
likely caused by bug 81786, since the charset codig drop-down list points to the
same RDF datasource...
