Some users should be able to rename tags across the MDN. For example, an editor might want to rename the tag "CSS Docs" to "CSS Reference". Sheppy: Can you please say more about how this feature should work?
Actually, Sheppy shared some thoughts on this in bug 809514. > * Search for all pages with a given tag that needs to be renamed. For > example, let's say there's a tag "Foo_bar" and we want to standardize that > to "Foo bar" (ie, removing the underscore). Searching on the "Foo_bar" tag, > then choosing an option to delete that tag from all the resulting pages and > then adding a new tag to them would be a nice feature for a tag dash.

Admins can rename tags nowadays.
(In reply to Jean-Yves Perrier [:teoli] from comment #2) > Admins can rename tags nowadays. I assume that happens outside of the wiki, right? Would be nice to have that feature available inside the wiki (behind a waffle flag), so volunteers like me can help tightening them up. Sebastian
It is indeed in the admin interface.
