I would like to have the "IsManager" field opened up so that we can access this field in ServiceNow.

We need to set up a manager's field that will only display managers.

Please let me know if you need any other info.

I added the missing ACL to the backend LDAP nodes as well (originally had it just on the frontend proxies..). I think it should work now. Reopen if it doesn't and I might need some admin credentials into servicenow to be able to troubleshoot.

Is it possible to have non-managers assigned the isManager attribute but have it set to false?

This is not trivial. It would require a major overhaul of the current LDAP infrastructure and I'd prefer not to go through with it.

Thanks Jabba. I don't think that this is something that was a definite required. I will let them know that this would be a major change for a small enhancement.

That comment was old and seems to have just triggered a bugmail yesterday. We've gone ahead and started the work on pushing out the change. Tracked in bug 821708. We should have this resolved next week.
