RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 817231

Details

Window sometimes does not reposition when dragging menu bar, depending on where in the (new, fatter) bar the curser is.
If I start toward the left of the menu bar it sometimes works. Then it progressively drags properly at more and more points toward the right on the menu bar.
D. Liguori, thanks for reporting! This looks very similar to Bug 817231 :)

Not a duplicate! Window won't drag, independent of whether it had focus!

Quite annoying, when it happens.

Focus is probably irrelevant for bug 817231: just like this bug, the main problem is inability to drag (and anyway, without focus you can't drag...)

Liguori, what size is your window when your drag fails for some regions? Maximized or Window-sized? Anyway, I think it's all covered by bug 817231.

Liguori, do you see the same "dead areas" where dragging doesn't work as shown in attachment 687414 [details]?
Window area as roughly 1/3 total screen area. Of course it doesn't drag when it's maximized! Is that a trick question?

"Dead area" as shown in that bug report accurately describes it. But eventually, after repeated dragging from the left, more and more area came "alive".

Today the problem is much less pronounced, but still present. Let me know if there is anything I can post when it happens severely again, like a list of running processes, etc.
