In the stability group, we have been talking for a long time about creating a channel to let the "outside world" know about what we are doing and engaging the community with our group.
We started off thinking about a newsletter, and an example of that would be at https://wiki.mozilla.org/CrashKill/2012-09-04 - but we ended up feeling that a blog would fill this role even better.
To quote from the newsletter example, "The goal is to engage users and developers in helping us improve the stability across all our products."
I think we could even use that as the description of the blog, just starting it off with "The goal of this blog is..." - and we can use just "Mozilla Stability" (or only "Stability"?) as the title.
At least Sheila Mooney, Marcia Knous, and me should have editor access to this blog.

Hi Robert,
All sounds great and like some good content for users/devs. In the spirit of our draft blog guidelines [https://wiki.mozilla.org/Websites/Mozilla.org/One_Mozilla/Documentation/Blog-Guidelines], I'm wondering if there is an existing blog your group could use for this content (one that already has readership and participation you could leverage). We could add you, Shield and Marcia as editors to that for your content.
The answer might be no but would like to know that for sure. Possible to post this content to the Mozilla Blog or Future of Firefox? There may be others that work, not sure. You likely know better than I. Hoping to help your content get the readership it deserves.
Also, if we do create a new blog for your group, you'll need to designate a content "owner". Thanks, Mardi

Not that we'd know of.

I personally think both those are not really the right places for our content. There might be the odd post that would make sense in the scope of the former, but I don't believe that will be anything near the norm, and I'd have a hard time finding anything we do that would fit the latter - just to go with those two examples. If anything, there might be some overlap with some QA medium, but that would only be for part of our content, I think.
Sheila, Marcia, Delphine, would you disagree there?

We'll surely need aggregation on Planet Mozilla Projects, we'll do that once this has been created.

Sheila, would that be you, or me, or someone else?
