Platform: Mac OS 8.6
This build has a known problem with window size at startup. When the browser
window comes up, click and hold on the resize handle at the lower right hand
corner of the window. When the mouse button is depressed, an outline is drawn
for a resized window (about 2-3 times wider than the window currently is). When
the mouse button is released, the window does indeed redraw at the new, wider
size. The expected result is that as the mouse was not moved, the window should
not be resized.
Peter, is this an XPToolkit or Widget issue? ('Cause we don't do the resize
thang.)

I don't know where this belongs, Dan needs to look at it.

I'm not sure I'm seeing the same problem as described; the situation may be different by now.
I'm seeing the window behave just as you'd expect, unless it happens to be created at a size
smaller than its minimum. When that happens., clicking the size box does indeed resize the
window to its minimum size. Otherwise, clicking the size box does nothing (unless you drag
afterward, of course). I'd call that correct behaviour, so I'm calling this one done.
Summary: [PP] Mac - clicking on resize window handle resizes window → [PP] Mac - clicking on size box resizes window
I'll have a look at it on my Mac again tomorrow. Changing summary to reflect
proper terminology for the size box (sorry about that).
The situation is indeed different at this point. Using the 1999070908 build
under Mac OS 8.5, everything works as expected (ie the window is not resized
when clicking on the size box). Marking verified.
