Steps to reproduce:

I use short wav file (50 ms of active tone). It plays differently in different browsers.

I try test button at http://balatte.stireac.com/instructio
When I click it rapidly - some clicks get lost, some sound queerly


Actual results:

It plays scratchy and hoarsely like it stops playing before the end

Also when enabled by default Sound Effect option in Realtek Audio Panel - dont play at all!


Expected results:

Should play clean and load like at version 12

Problem was appeared at versia 16,17...
Also play bad at versia 7,8 before that

Opera on the same machine play nicely
Google Chrome doesnt miss sounds but pauses sometimes
IE's workaround also misses tones but plays cleanly
