The thing at the top looks like a minimalist scrollbar a la recent Ubuntu, but it doesn't scroll when you tap it. If it's a progress meter, make it look like a progress meter - give the track the same thickness as the box, and fill it from left to right (or perhaps right to left in Hebrew and Arabic locales :-).
