- launch 5/21/01 build on mac
- go to a website

as the page finishes loading, watch the left side of the window. It "jiggles" by
a couple of pixels. Happens with every page you go to. Very annoying.
it's hard to say, but it looks like the window is getting progressively smaller.
i swear sometimes i saw it expand again, but a lot of the time it doesn't.
launch mail if you really want a treat. it shrinks two or three times before it
settles out. ugh! could we perhaps be doing a window resize on every reflow?
Severity: normal → critical
It does resize and move the window every time it jiggles. I could have sworn
that there is a bug on all platforms about automaticly resizing, but I can't
find it now. (It's likely my fault. My new bug history will show that I can't
find one to save my ass.)
It also kills the <TITLE>. Should these be labeled different bugs?
Yes, you should treat those as different bugs. But, the title thing is
already filed as bug 81940, and, by the way, I tried danm's patch from bug
81787 and the title now works (value stays set).

sorry danm. this is a dupe. maybe if i comment some more on this dan will come
into my cube and whip me with a wet noodle.
