Calendar events do not display as notifications on the phone lock screen. This is based on UC set-233 for notifications- it is unclear whether or not calendar events should trigger notifications.
Calendar events will trigger notifications when syncing a remote calendar with alarms. Local event do not have the capability at present.

Please confirm that this was a local event or a remote event with an alarm?

Hi Rebecca, we recently added a bunch of calendar alarm support, and I am able to see alarms on the lockscreen for both remote and local calendars.

I believe this should be fixed now, so please verify when you have a chance. Thanks!
