The marketplace login is terribly slow. It took me several minutes to login. Between the time it takes to load the various screen, to the actual authentication.

This is done over Cell Data, eg. GPRS or EDGE (if I'm lucky)

We should see if this reproduces with the trusted UI implementation as well.

Can you give a little bit more info? Which screens are slow to load? Thanks!

ALL, one by one.  Given they are loaded over GPRS or (if lucky) EDGE.

Is this a Marketplace issue or a Persona issue?

Inclined to resolve, as Marketplace has been rewritten and Persona is on a new version since this bug was filed.

Cool.  And just for anyone still following, we're not done with speed-ups yet.  We intend to have the persona footprint below 100k, loading at 3 seconds or less on 2G networks.
