User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 Build ID: 20121024073032 Steps to reproduce: Tried to log into my accounts on 8tracks.com & mangahere.com Actual results: I rolled back my Firefox version to 16.0.1 and this resolved the issue completely Expected results: Being able to log in to my accounts on websites with Firefox 17.0.1
Could you update to Firefox 17 and log in with a new profile, please: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Reporter, please can you confirm whether this issue still occurs using Firefox in safe mode or with a new profile? http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

(In reply to Loic from comment #1) > Could you update to Firefox 17 and log in with a new profile, please: > https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove- > firefox-profiles I don't have a Firefox profile, never had one in the first place. I was just reporting a problem (who the hell forces people to create an email just to report a problem anyways‽)with my temp solution of rollback that alleviated for the said sites this issue afflicted; I was just going to pass on the info and that's it, I'm no dev or coder so: (1)17.0.1 failed to initialize site/password confirmation&login-presence + (2)rolling back to 16.0.1 fixed this entirely = you all figure it out. I just figured I'd wait for a 17.0.2-or-3. You're lucky I had to sign in for a youtube vid age restriction or I never would have known you and @Simona B replied at all. I wouldn't bother asking me any more questions, I wouldn't really know anyways. I've passed on the body of evidence, it's up to you all to get a clue. Do people really make a browser profile‽... (Don't bother, it was redundant.)

Where do you think Firefox saves all your personnal data like history, passwords, bookmarks etc? That's the role of the profile. Firefox creates automatically a profile the 1st time you launch it. Just read the FAQ to switch to a new profile, it takes 2 min to do and to know if the issue comes from your profile (corruption) or maybe from Firefox 17. Anyway, if you don't want to be a litte bit cooperative, the bug will closed as incomplete.
