Over the last little while, software built with B2G_DEBUG=1 has become unusably slow. STR (e.g.): 0. |B2G_DEBUG=1 ./build.sh gecko && ./flash.sh gecko| 1. open the camera app 2. press shutter button to take a picture 3. wait for camera to take a picture Expected results: device has always been slow(er) with debugging enabled, but it was still usuable. Observed results: camera can take over 60s to respond to the shutter button press and to actually take a picture. A similar observation can be made with video recording--in one instance it took ~5 minutes for my "start recording" button press to be reflected in the UI.
This seems to have gotten much better on recent builds.
