This doesn't always happen, but I've noticed with the most recent build of B2G (Build ID 20121212102240), when turning on the screen, the screen seems to "flash" a lot while the background loads. I took a video of what I was experiencing. Slowing it down, it looks like the background is going from dark to very bright to normal, and then repeating that process twice sometimes. Seems to be working now, but please reopen if you can reproduce this on a current device/build.
