It looks like bug 815943 regressed us by breaking the synthetic 'contextmenu' event. See my comment https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=815943#c46. If I'm wrong about it being that bug, it's probably the related bug 814252.
Summary: swiping down to scroll messages triggers bulk-edit mode → scrolling messages triggers bulk-edit mode if mouse interaction lasts 1 second

Per cjones, the regressing patch in question was backed out. Today's unagi nightly no longer has the problem, so I am inclined to believe him :) Marking WFM, someone else please verify.

I can't reproduce #821946 anymore either.

The bug where you couldn't tap on a thumbnail in the gallery after scrolling is also gone.

And the gallery crop controls that didn't work yesterday do work today after an OTA update. So those other regressions are gone, too.
