A few options that come to mind wrt a Telemetry URL:

1. The Firefox privacy policy, which has a section specifically for Telemetry http://www.mozilla.org/legal/privacy/firefox.html

2. The Telemetry FAQ that I published last week with the help of comms (there is nothing in the FAQ about FFOS but we can modify it) https://wiki.mozilla.org/Telemetry/faq

3. The Telemetry dashboard, which will need to be modified to include useful information about Telemetry itself http://telemetry.mozilla.org

It should be #2 under Lawrence's pick list (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Telemetry/faq). Lawrence, could you please update it with FFOS? Happy to help with that. Eventually I'd prefer a more mobile friendly page, but for v1 this works well.

Based on Jishnu's feedback, it seems to me that the best course of action is to request that www.mozilla.org/telemetry redirect to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Telemetry/faq. This future proof's the solution with a stable URL and will allow us to change the page out of band as we move forward. I have filed bug 822817.

I wonder if it would not be better to use www.mozilla.org/telemetry/firefoxos or www.mozilla.org/firefoxos/telemetry as the stable URL.

What do you think ?

I can buy that. I think a single Telemetry landing page (/telemetry) can be useful but we may want a more targeted URL for B2G. I suggest that we take this conversation to bug 822817 and work with the owners of mozilla.org to come up with a URL that works.
